The Archtop Registry

In the early 2000’s, my cousin and I decided to combine our passion for hand-crafted musical instruments, beautiful photography, and storytelling in the attempt to show the world the beauty that we saw when presented with an incredible instrument. The resulting website, not only achieved a dedicated online following, it redefined the entire way that high end instruments were photographed and displayed online. One can still find instances online where guitarists use the words “Registry-like” as an adjective to describe beautiful instrument photography. Although the Archtop Registry failed to achieve financial success, it ushered in an exciting new era of online musical instrument appreciation.
